Visiting info

Tickets to the museum can be bought from the joint Box Office of Theatre for Young Audience and Museum of Puppetry Arts. Please notice CONDITIONS OF A SAFE VISIT.

The entrance to the museum is next to the Ferdinand hall entrance on ground floor. Museum rooms are located on three floors, including several cellars. 

The museum is not accessible with baby strollers. You can leave them near the main entrance.

The museum can be visited in a wheelchair, but only on the ground floor with a different entrance. Please ask Box Office for further information.

Activities such as excursions, games and workshops are for groups and have to be pre-booked at least a week beforehand. Bookings can be made via muuseum [at] eestinoorsooteater.ee or by phone +372 6679 542. 

Opening times for the museum

From September to May museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.

NB! The box office and the museum are closed on the 7th and 9th of April and 8th of April are open from 10am to 6pm.

It takes approximately one hour to go through the museum but we encourage you to let your imagination and playfulness burst out and spend there as much time as possible.

NB! Admission to the Museum of Puppetry Arts is free for Ukrainian war refugees upon presentation of a passport.
